A LITTLE ABOUT US

We've learned that life is most rewarding, and most fulfilling, when we give attention to the little things that give it its true meaning. It's our belief, and even our experience, that family is central to both purpose and enjoyment in life—and adding faith to the mix truly magnifies the potential for fulfillment. Without a doubt, our family's own joyful journey has been so because of our imperfect but earnest efforts to draw close to the Lord. The purpose of our blog is twofold: (i) to chronicle this journey we call life; and (ii) to offer ideas and encouragement to others who might benefit in some way from our experiences.

A LITTLE ABOUT US AS INDIVIDUALS

Eric loves being a husband and father, and he tries hard to be better at both, every day. He loves to read, draw, paint, exercise, cook (and eat), and drive (he's always up for a road trip!). He loves the gospel and feels deep gratitude for the atonement of Jesus Christ. Shannon is living her dream being a wife and a mom. From a young age, being a wife and mom was always her focus and passion. In addition to her love for those two sacred roles, she loves cooking, crafting, building, decorating, teaching, exercising, gardening, camping, and currently, she's enthralled by the art of photography. As a homeschooling mom, Shannon is devoted to instilling in her children a love for learning. Most importantly, Shannon loves the Lord, and works hard to keep her feet firmly planted on the path of discipleship.
